About AcuDen

At AcuDen, we firmly believe that biomedical and eastern medicines complement each other, rather than existing in isolation. By intertwining these approaches, we can generate positive outcomes for our patients.

Throughout the treatment, Chinese medicine diagnostic’s will be employed to find the root cause of illness. Our treatment approach involves blending classical Chinese medicine techniques with contemporary methods, ensuring that each individual treatment is uniquely tailored to the patient.

About Jess

Jess has enjoyed a nursing career spanning almost 20 years. She has an extensive nursing background, graduating from the University of Sydney in 2003 with a Bachelor of nursing and then completing post graduate study in critical care nursing with the College of Nursing. Jess primarily focussed her career in emergency nursing, spending 13 years in an emergency department at a prominent tertiary Sydney hospital as a registered nurse, clinical nurse specialist and educator.

Driven by a passion for holistic and inclusive healthcare, Jess pursued further tertiary education to delve into eastern medicine practices, completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Acu) to become an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner.

Now, with a unique blend of western and eastern medical knowledge, she provides contemporary, evidence-based Chinese medicine treatments to her patients across a broad range of health conditions.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Jess connecting with nature, enjoying being in or near the ocean, bushwalking and spending quality time with her family and friends.

"Acupuncture, a timeless art, need not dwell solely in the past. It serves as a dynamic complement to modern biomedicine, fostering a holistic and inclusive balance in healthcare."
